Late fees will be waived on GST? Finance Minister will take decision after meeting of GST Council

new Delhi. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has spoken of putting the matter in the GST Council to waive the late fees levied on GST. The Finance Minister announced this in an exclusive chat with IndiaTV. In fact, IndiaTV had received requests from a large number of people after this, after which the Finance Minister was made aware of the concerns of the people regarding the late fees of GST.

Talking to IndiaTV, the Finance Minister said that she will discuss this in the GST Council meeting and take a decision soon.

Due to the ongoing lockdown and business slowness due to Corona crisis, many people are having difficulty in filling GST. Due to this, the concerns of small traders had increased considerably. It is estimated that the government can find a solution for the businessmen in the council meeting.
