Boeing to cut more than 12000 jobs thousands more planned

new Delhi. Boeing, a global aircraft manufacturing company, is retrenching more than 12,000 people. The aviation industry has suffered a major setback due to travel restrictions due to the Kovid-19 crisis. The company has indicated that it may also hire more people. America's largest manufacturing company will this week lay off 6,770 American employees. In addition 5,520 employees have opted for voluntary retirement. Boeing had announced that it would cut its workforce by 10 percent. The company's total workforce is around 160,000.
