India's first Agri Future Index AGRIDEX worth Rs 45 crore in the first two days


AGRIDEX registered a total trade value of Rs 45 crores with 885 lots traded in the first two days

India's first tradable Agree Future Index Agridx launched by the leading Agri Commodity Exchange National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd (NCDEX) with a total turnover of Rs 45 crores in the first two days with 885 lots among market participants It shows interest towards and popularity of it. NCDEX launched Agradex on 26 May 2020.

On the second day of trading on Wednesday, on Wednesday, Agridx was trading at Rs 24 crore with 467 lots. On the second day of trading, the open interest was 187 lots. On its first day, a total of Rs 21 crore trade was recorded on Agradex with 418 lots.

NCDEX Executive Vice President and Head of Business Kapil Dev said that the responses received in the first two days on Agradex are very encouraging and it has strengthened our belief that Agradex will increase the participation of retail and institutional investors in the agricultural commodity sector.
