Air India SpiceJet starts domestic flight ticket bookings

Booking of tickets for domestic flights has started from 12.30 pm on Friday afternoon.

The flights which have been closed for the last several days are going to resume from May 25. However, only domestic flights are starting now. People traveling by air can book tickets from Air India website airindia.in or booking can also be done through travel agent. The tweet stated that more information about ticket booking can be obtained through customer care.

Apart from this, booking of tickets has also started in other airlines. SpiceJet also tweeted that the company has started booking tickets from May 25.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri had said on Thursday that 33 percent of domestic airlines will start in the country from May 25. The minimum and maximum fare has been fixed for them. With this, guidelines have also been issued for aircraft passengers. The Union Minister informed that the fare ranges have been fixed for air distances ranging from 40 minutes to three and a half hours. He told for example that the fare between Delhi and Mumbai will be between three and a half thousand to ten thousand. Companies will have to sell 40% of the seats at the price between the bands.

Keep them in mind before air travel

  • According to the new guidelines of AAI, passengers traveling by air will be required to wear face masks, globs during the journey.
  • Every traveler's mobile phone should not only have the Arogya Setu application installed, but its status should also be green. If not, you will not get entry inside the airport terminal.
  • Now you have to arrive at the airport two hours before the scheduled flight time.
  • Authorized taxis will have to be used to reach the airport.
  • Only digital mode will be used for payment at the airport.
  • A distance of 6 feet from any other person or passenger at the airport must be maintained.
  • Only web check-in facility will be available. Airport check-in kiosks can also be used.
  • Before entering the airport terminal, make sure you are wearing a mask, shoe-cover. it's mandatory.
  • Your temperature will be checked once again before boarding the aircraft. If the temperature exceeds the prescribed standard, you will not be allowed to travel by air.
  • After sitting in your seat on the plane, you will be sanitized once again. Also, you have to at least communicate with the crew during the journey.
  • In some airports, passengers may also have to wear PPE kits depending on the need.
  • Passengers will only be allowed to carry check-in baggage, cabin baggage will be completely forbidden in the first phase.
  • A passenger will be allowed to carry the same check-in baggage of 20 kg weight.
  • During check-in, you will need to pick up your own bag and keep it in the baggage belt.
  • However, in the first phase of air travel, passengers above 80 years of age will not be allowed to travel by air.
