Airport Authority of India Releases domestic flights new Guidelines latest news

new Delhi. Domestic flight service in the country is scheduled to begin on May 25 amid a nationwide lockdown implemented due to the Corona crisis. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has also issued SOP for passengers on Thursday. AAI has issued Standard Operator Procedures (SOPs) for airports to resume domestic flights. AAI has stated in its SOP that it will be mandatory for passengers to pass through the thermal check area before entering the airport terminal building, as well as travel without a face mask will not be possible. Airport operators must make appropriate arrangements to make passengers' belongings infection-free before entering the terminal building.

AAI has stated in its SOP that airport operators must make proper arrangements for sanitization of passengers' belongings before entering the terminal building. Arogya Setu App is not mandatory for children below 14 years of age. It will be compulsory for all other travelers to download the Arogya Setu app.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will meet with all airline companies on Thursday at DGCA headquarters before the commencement of flight services. In this meeting, Churchi will be on the issue of starting domestic flight service.

Actually, national and international flights are banned due to the lockdown, but now the government has asked to start domestic flights from 25 May. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri said that domestic flights will start in the country from 25 May 2020 (Monday). All airports and airline companies should be ready to start flights from 25 May. Let us know that earlier, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had said in a tweet on Tuesday that the responsibility of starting the air service lies with the Center as well as the states. They also have to be ready for this.

After the rail service, air service is also being started gradually in the country. However, passengers will have to follow social distancing and other rules. Explain that due to Corona virus, the fourth phase of lockdown has been implemented in the country till May 31.
