Piramal board approves Rs 500 crore non-convertible debentures issue

New Delhi. Piramal Enterprises, associated with various businesses, said on Wednesday that its board of directors has approved raising Rs 500 crore by issuing securities on a personal planning basis. In a notice to the stock market, Piramal Enterprises said that in a meeting of the Board of Directors, it has approved the issuance of secured, rated, listed, non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis. NCDs are proposed to be listed on the wholesale bond market of NSE (National Stock Exchange). The Piramal Group operates in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, financial services, real estate, glass packaging.
