Germany's footwear company to move out of China and set up its factory in Agra, to invest Rs 110 crore


German Footwear Brand Von Wellx to Shift Production Base from China to Agra, invest 110 cr rupees

new Delhi. In the midst of the Kovid-19 epidemic, the German footwear company Casa Everz Zimb has announced to bring its entire manufacturing operations from China to India. The company produces 3 million pairs of shoes annually. For this, it has tied up with domestic shoe exporter company Iatric Industries. The company will initially invest Rs 110 crore.

Casa Everz Zimb, a footwear brand named Von Vallex, will be set up in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Ashish Jain, director and chief executive officer of iAtric Industries, said in an email that after several rounds of negotiations Casa Casa has decided to bring its entire manufacturing operations from China to India.

Casa Everz has two manufacturing units in China. These two units produce more than 3 million pairs of shoes annually. IAtric Industries already has the ability to manufacture five million pairs of women's and men's shoes annually for the 5 zone brand of Casa Veilz's Won Velex Germany. Apart from this, the company also has a separate plant with a capacity to manufacture five lakh pairs of shoes. He said that a new manufacturing plant would be set up. Its annual production capacity will exceed 3 million pairs of shoes.

The company will achieve this manufacturing capacity in two years after getting all the necessary support from the Uttar Pradesh government. Casa Everz shoe is patented in 80 countries of the world. This shoe provides relief in foot, knee and back pain. Protects joints and muscles so that there is no future trouble. The company also makes special footwear for diabetic patients. It was introduced in India last year which is currently available in over 500 showrooms and online across the country.

The company said in a release that the Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Export Promotion of the Government of Uttar Pradesh quoted Chaudhary Udaybhan Singh as saying that it was a matter of pleasure for him that the German company was coming to Agra city in India. The government will cooperate at all levels. The company claims that it will provide direct and indirect employment to 10,000 people.
