542 Shramik special trains have run so far says Indian rail

new Delhi. Indian Railways has operated 575 Shramik Special till 4 pm on May 12. 6.8 lakh passengers have been taken from one place to another through these trains. During this time free food and water have also been provided to the passengers. According to the railways, trains are being run by the railways only after the consent of the states. Social distance is being kept for the passengers during the journey. Railways have reported that by 9 am on May 12, out of a total of 448 Shramik Special trains, 448 trains had reached their destination.

Out of these 448 trains, 1 train in Andhra Pradesh, 117 trains in Bihar, 1 train in Chhattisgarh, 1 train in Himachal Pradesh, 27 trains in Jharkhand, 1 train in Karnataka, 38 trains in Madhya Pradesh, 3 trains in Maharashtra, Odisha Their services were terminated after reaching 29 trains, 4 trains in Rajasthan, 1 train in Tamil Nadu, 2 trains in Telangana, 221 trains in Uttar Pradesh and 2 trains in West Bengal.

Through these trains, laborers will be given Tiruchirappalli, Titlagarh, Barauni, Khandwa, Jagannathpur, Khurda Road, Prayagraj, Chapra, Ballia, Gaya, Purnia, Varanasi, Darbhanga, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Jaunpur, Hatia, Basti, Katihar, Danapur, Muzaffarpur, Saharsa As transported to cities.

Railways have reported that passengers are checked before boarding labor special trains and passengers are given free food and water during the journey. Significantly, due to the nationwide bandh, 'Shramik Special' trains are being operated in various states with the aim of transporting stranded workers, pilgrims, tourists, students and other persons to their home state.
