Hyundai rolls out 200 cars on day one of resuming production in Chennai

new Delhi. Hyundai Motor India said on Saturday that operations at its Chennai factory have resumed. The factory produced 200 cars on its first day of operations. The company resumed manufacturing activities on 8 May at the Sriperumbudur factory. Hyundai Motor India said in a statement that the company's manufacturing plant is being 100 percent compliant with the safety and social distancing guidelines.

The company said that the government is trying to revive the crisis-ridden economy caused by the Corona virus. In such a situation, the company will be able to contribute to the economic activity by starting the manufacturing operations. A number of industries have resumed operations in a phased manner after the nationwide bandh saw some relaxation in the third phase.

Yamaha employees paid one day's salary

Employees of the two-wheeler sector Yamaha Motor India Group (YMIG) have contributed their one day salary to fight the corona virus. YMIG said in a statement on Saturday that the permanent employees and trainees of the company's three plants Kanchipuram (Tamil Nadu), Surajpur (Uttar Pradesh) and Faridabad (Haryana) plants and employees of other offices of the company paid Rs 61.5 lakh from their April salary. Kovid-19 is given to battle.

In this, 25-25 lakh rupees have been given in the Chief Minister Public Relief Fund of Tamil Nadu and Chief Minister Disaster Relief Fund of Uttar Pradesh. The remaining Rs 11.5 lakh has been given in the Prime Minister's Civil Assistance and Emergency Situation Relief Fund (PM-Cares). YMEG Executive Vice President Takahiro Henmi said it was a global crisis. Yamaha believes that in this every person should go ahead and support the government so that this fight can be won.
