Aviation minister Hardeep Puri said in an interview to the news magazine Outlook that domestic blown services could start within a week. The lockdown has been implemented since March 25 to prevent the spread of the corona virus in the country and there is a ban on metro, rail and all types of public transport as well as air services. But now the government has started loosening the lockdown conditions in many places and there is a possibility that some other public transport could be considered to be open with air flight later. However, cases of corona virus are continuously increasing in the country and the lockdown is on till May 17 in the country.
In an exclusive interview to Outlook India, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that domestic flights can start within a week. Hardeep Singh Puri further said that a final decision is yet to be taken on this. Operations can be done between the green zones. If we look at the figures, all the metros are in the Red Zone. At present, it will be decided in the next few days. The Union Minister said that they are planning to start domestic flights even before 15 May. Efforts will be made to take steps towards starting it very soon. Explain that, on the basis of the threat of Corona, the central government has divided 733 districts into three zones. There are 130 districts in Red Zone, 284 Districts in Orange Zone and 319 Districts in Green Zone.
In a special conversation with Outlook, Hardeep Singh Puri said about the government's massive plan to evacuate stranded Indians abroad and the challenges involved, saying that we were not sure that the operation through 'Vande Bharat Mission' would be carried out on this scale will be given. It identifies those who want to return. Only 9 million Indians work in Gulf countries alone. About one lakh 90 thousand people have been identified who are stranded and are in a state of tension.
