Sebi officer test positive for covid 19 head office shut till 10 may

new Delhi. An official of Securities and Exchange Board of India i.e. SEBI has been found to be Corona positive. After which SEBI has closed its headquarters till 10 May. According to information received from sources, an AGM level officer of SEBI has confirmed the infection from Corona after which this step has been taken.

Sources have informed that all the employees and officers who came in contact with this officer were asked to contact the HR department and as per rules have been quarantined for 14 days.

Sources clarified that with the commencement of the lockdown, SEBI is acting as per the rules issued by the government and further steps will be taken as per the rules. Presently the entire headquarters located in Bandra Kurla Complex are being sanitized. According to the source, Sebi's work from home system is so strong that even after the office is closed, all work will continue without any restriction.
