Stock market ends in green RIL up more than 3 percent

new Delhi. The Sensex and Nifty closed today with the help of heavyweights like Reliance Industries and HUL. In the last trading session of the week, the Sensex gained 199 points to 31643 and the Nifty gained 52 points to close at 9252. After the news related to the investment in both the big stocks, there was a good growth, in today's business, the HUL was the biggest gainer among the Sensex stocks. The stock has closed with a gain of 4.81 per cent. According to information given to the stock market, the foreign portfolio investor Societe Generale has bought a large number of shares of the company at an average price of Rs 1902. After which the stock saw a boom. At the same time, Reliance Industries stock rose 3.62 percent. Vista Equity, a US-based PE firm, has bought a 2.32 per cent stake in Jio Platform for Rs 11367 crore. HDFC Bank closed up 0.43 per cent and TCS 0.12 per cent.

The pharma sector has seen the biggest increase in today's business. The sector index closed up 2.13 percent on the NSE. At the same time, the FMCG sector index gained 1.9 percent. Other sectors to grow included IT sector (0.83 per cent) and energy (0.53 per cent). On the other hand, the auto sector saw a decline of 1.29 percent, the metal sector 1.12 percent and the banking sector 0.71 percent.
