Air India opens bookings for passengers to Singapore, London and US

new Delhi. National public air line company Air India has announced on Wednesday night that it has introduced ticket booking facility for passengers traveling to India. Air India has said that this facility has been introduced only for Indian citizens stranded in Singapore, London and select cities of US.

Under the Vande Bharat Mission, flights will be operated in various parts of the world to bring back Indians trapped under lockdown due to Corona virus. This flight will be operated between 8 May to 14 May.

Air India has said in its tweet that we want to inform all those who are coming back to India from London, Singapore and select cities of the US through flights operated by Air India between 8 May and 14 May. They want to click on airindia.in/r1landingpage.htm for their booking.

Air India has requested passengers to carefully read the eligibility conditions given for the journey on the link and proceed to booking only after fulfilling these eligibility conditions.

Guidelines for Air India booking:

  • Only those people who are citizens of India will be allowed to travel.
  • Passengers must have a visa with a minimum duration of one year.
  • Holders of Green Card or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card will also be allowed to travel.
  • In case of medical emergency or family death, an Indian citizen who has a 6-month visa will also be eligible to travel.
  • The entire journey cost will have to be paid by the passenger himself.
  • Passengers will have to strictly follow the Quarantine rules on reaching India and bear the expenses themselves.
