new Delhi. Adani Enterprises' consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of the previous financial year 2019-20 declined by 63.57 per cent to Rs 96.93 crore. This resulted in a consolidated net profit of Rs 266.09 crore in the January-March quarter of the previous fiscal. In a communication to the stock market, the Gautam Adani-led company said its consolidated total income rose two per cent to Rs 13,698 crore during the quarter, from Rs 13,473 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. The company's total expenditure during the quarter increased to Rs 13,712 crore, from Rs 12,975 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, said in a statement that everything has come to a standstill due to Kovid-19. We stand with the people of this country in this challenging time. Once the situation is normal, we will grow stronger.
