EPFO employee contribute Rs 2,5 crore to PM CARES


new Delhi. Employees of EPFO, the organization that manages the Employees' Retirement Fund, have contributed Rs 2.5 crore to combat the corona virus epidemic. The Labor Ministry said in a statement that EPFO ​​employees have voluntarily paid one day's salary to the PM-Cares fund to help the government's initiative. It said that EPFO ​​is ready to serve the country in every possible way.

Along with this, the institute said that they are taking fast steps on people's claims to meet the economic challenges arising out of the epidemic. The government has given permission for Gujar Basar to withdraw a part of its deposit. According to EPFO, they have settled 7.4 lakh claims under this special exemption.
