Lufthansa Group introduces obligation to wear a mouth and nose cover

new Delhi: Due to the status of Kovid-19, it will be mandatory for all passengers to travel in Lufthansa Group Airlines from May 4 with face-to-nose cover. The company has asked passengers to wear masks during the entire journey i.e. before and after the flight at the airport. The company said that despite many adjustments in service processes, it is not always possible to maintain the required distance on the flight. Therefore, this measure provides additional protection for all passengers.

All flight attendants will also wear masks in Lufthansa group flights in direct contact with customers. Thus the Lufthansa Group is complying with the official regulations of many European countries which mandate covering of mouth and nose in public places.

The company has requested all the passengers to cover their mouth and nose. The company has asked passengers to wear cloth masks but all other types of coverings such as simple disposable masks or scarves can also be worn. Airlines will inform their passengers about the new regulation by SMS or e-mail and on their websites.
