new Delhi. Honda Cars India Ltd. Has launched two new petrol versions of its popular sedan Honda City on Tuesday. The company recently introduced the fifth generation of the Honda City sedan. The company has said that it will continue its fourth generation sales in two variants SV and V grade with BS-6 engine. This car will come in a manual transmission with a 1.5 liter petrol engine.
The Honda City SV variant is priced at Rs 9,29,900, while the V grade is priced at Rs 9,99,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Speaking at the launch, Rajesh Goyal, Senior Vice President and Director, Marketing and Sales, HCIdhal, said that the company has decided to continue the fourth generation sales of Honda City as well. The fourth generation Honda City will be made available in SV and V grades with a Contemporary Style and BS-6 engine.
He said that by doing so the company is trying to make the city available to consumers at various price points in the mid-size sedan segment. HCIL said that the fourth generation Honda City has so far sold 3.5 lakh units. It was first launched by the company in India in January 2014.
The new 5th generation Honda City sedan is available in the range of Rs.10.90 lakhs to Rs.14.65 lakhs (Xshroom Delhi).
