How to Aadhaar card update UIDAI online fee increased

new Delhi. By taking advantage of government schemes, Aadhaar card is now required in money transactions. In this case, the information given in your Aadhar card should be correct. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) allows Aadhaar card holders to make changes to Aadhaar cards both online and offline. If you are doing biometric updates, then you will have to pay Rs 100, while if you only make changes in the demographic details, then you will have to pay only 50 rupees. You also know how many times you can update your address, name, date of birth, mobile number and email id in the Aadhaar card.

Name can be updated twice and gender only once.

To update the Aadhaar card you can either visit the Aadhaar enrollment center or use online services to update your Aadhaar. But you cannot update your Aadhaar whenever you want. The UIDAI has also imposed some restrictions. Like you can update your name only twice in your Aadhaar card. According to the UIDAI's Office Memorandum, the Aadhaar cardholder can now update his name in the Aadhaar card only twice. Similarly the date of birth and gender can only be updated once during the lifetime of the Aadhaar card holder. Mobile and address can change many times in life, but birth date and gender do not change. This is the reason UIDAI has limited it. Once the date of birth is disturbed, it can be changed once. It is not allowed to do this again and again.

Renters can also easily change their address in Aadhaar card

If you live in a rented house, then you can easily update the address on your Aadhaar card. The central government has given permission to change the address for migrants on the basis of self-declaration. Those who are giving Aadhaar number for KYC in the bank or elsewhere but want to give the address to someone else (which is different from the address written on the Aadhaar card), it will be easier for them now because they can give self-addressed address. Now there will be no need to provide separate address proof for opening bank account or for KYC update. Customers only have to provide an address as self-evident. Explain that this change has been done through amendment in the Money Laundering Prevention (Maintenance of Records) Rules.

These documents will be needed to update Aadhaar card

UIDAI has released a new list of documents to update the Aadhaar card. In order to update the Aadhaar card, it is very important to have valid documents in addition to the application form and fees. Depending on these documents, your address or date of birth can be changed. UIDAI accepts 32 types of Identity Proof (Identity Card) for Aadhaar creation process. Also 14 documents for relationship with parents or family members, while 45 documents are address proof and 15 documents for date of birth, valid for address. UIDAI says that if no one has any valid documents, they can use the Approval Standard Certificate approved by UIDAI to create Aadhaar, or update it.
