new Delhi. Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) officially launched its premium hatchback Honda Jazz on Wednesday. The company has launched it with a new look, premium styling and segment leading features. It starts at Rs 7.49 lakh and will come with two transmission options in three variants V, VX and ZX. Its top end model will come for 9.73 lakh rupees.
In terms of exterior design, the new Honda Jazz comes with a number of sophisticated features, including new chrome accentuated high gloss black grille, new LED headlamp with DRL (inline shell), advanced LED package, new LED fog lamp, signature rear LED Wing lights and redesigned front and rear bumpers are included. The most notable feature of the new Jazz is the newly introduced segment exclusive 'One Touch Electric Sunroof', which will set a new trend in the premium hatchback. The new Jazz 5 color options – Radiant Red Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and Golden Brown Metallic will be available.
Speaking at the launch of New Jazz, Gaku Nakanishi, President and CEO, Honda Cars India Ltd. Said that we are very happy to launch the new Jazz. Apart from giving the Honda Jazz a stylish and sporty look, the offering of the segment exclusive Sunroop will give the car a new dimension and make it the most distinct in the segment. The highly spacious cabin with premium features in the hatchback makes the new Jazz the best and we are confident that it will receive very good response from our customers.
The interior of the new Jazz offers a super spacious, premium and comfortable cabin, the largest in its category. It offers consumers advanced interior equipment and comfort features such as cruise control, auto AC with touchscreen panel, multi display combi meter with LCD display and eco assist ambient rings, steering mounted audio, telephony and voice controls, one push in white and red color Honda offers a SmartSystem with start / stop buttons and keyless remote. The new Jazz comes with a very convenient and large 354 liter cargo space, which is the best in its segment.
The new Jazz will be powered by a BS-compliant 1.2-liter i-VTEC petrol engine. This engine provides a maximum power of 90 PS at 6000 rpm and a torque of 110 Nm at 4800 rpm. It is equipped with Honda's advanced 5-speed manual transmission, which provides an effective fuel efficiency of 16.6 km / l as per test data. The automatic variant of the new Jazz comes with Honda's Advanced CVT Technology of Earth Dreamz Series, and offers a fuel efficiency of 17.1 kilometers per liter.
To add to the beauty and convenience of the new Jazz, an Advanced Infotainment System Digipad 2.0 has been added to it, providing easy and smart connectivity. 17.7 cm Advanced Touchscreen Audio, Video and Navigation System Apple Apple, Android Auto, comes with easy smartphone connectivity via newly launched weblink.
