new Delhi. Samsung said on Friday that its new flagship phablet has been officially launched globally. In the midst of the epidemic, the South Korean tech giant has high hopes for its new device for mobile business. According to Samsung, the Galaxy Note 20 series has been introduced in 70 countries including South Korea, the United States, Britain and Thailand.
This new Samsung device will be available in 130 countries by mid-September. The Galaxy Note 20 series was unveiled online at the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5, which comes in two models. Its first model is Standard Note 20 and second model is High End Note 20 Ultra.
According to a report by the Yonhap News Agency, due to the epidemic, Samsung has stated that the launching events and promotional activities of the new device will vary depending on the infection situation in each country. South Korean analysts expect sales of the Note 20 series to be around 8 million units this year, which is lower than the Note 10 series (about one crore).
Samsung said that pre-registration for its Make in India Galaxy Note 20 smartphone in India has crossed the mark of over five lakhs this year, double the figure achieved with the Galaxy Note 10 last year.
The 6.7-inch Galaxy Note 20 (eight GB plus 256 GB) has been launched in the country at a base price of Rs 77,999, while the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G (12 GB plus 256 GB) coming with a 6.9-inch screen is priced at 104,999 in the country. Will be available for Rs. Customers pre-booking the Galaxy Note 20 will get a profit of Rs 7,000, which can be redeemed on the Samsung Shop app on many other products including Galaxy Buds Plus, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Tabs.
Apart from this, consumers can also avail cashback of up to Rs 6000 on purchase of Galaxy Note 20 by paying with HDFC Bank Credit and Debit Card. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G will be priced at Rs 85,999 in the country, with benefits from bank cashback and Samsung Shop.
