Maruti ties up with IIMB startup hub for mobility solutions

new Delhi. The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Thursday announced a tie-up with the Indian Institute of Management, Startup Hub and Incubation Center of Bangalore (IIMB). Through this alliance, work will be done to bring innovation in the mobility sector.

MSI said in a statement that the partnership with the NS Raghavan Entrepreneurship Learning Center (NSRCEL), based at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB), will help in the direction of innovations being implemented in the mobility sector.

The company said its initiative will help start-up startups build businesses on a large scale. Kenichi Ayukawa, managing director and CEO of MSI, stated that the objective of this alliance is to nurture the next generation of companies, which will define mobility solutions in the future and which can contribute significantly to job creation.
