DSIIDC extended relief measure

The Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, the agency responsible for infrastructure in the National Capital Region, has further increased the relief relief limit for the allottees of industrial plots in view of the Corona crisis. In view of the difficulties caused by Corona in the capital, these relief measures have been taken forward.

The period of payment of the remaining value of the plot has been extended to 4 and a half months. This exemption will be available only to the allottees of Bawana II. If the allottee is of a different area than Bawana II, the payment exemption will be given only to the allottees who have paid 50% of the value of the plot or factory. The time limit has been extended to 8 months for the lease deed to take effect. Also, the one-time waiver scheme has been implemented for the allottees of Bawana II, according to which, if the allottee pays the balance within 60 days from the day of issuance of the rule, he will get 50% rebate from the interest portion. At the same time, after the first 60 days, the remaining amount is paid within the next 45 days, then there will be a 30 percent discount on the interest portion. Even after this, the allottee will get 30 days for payment though he will not get any kind of discount.

Along with this, relief has also been given as exemption in rent. A one-time rebate of 50 per cent in interest has been decided on the outstanding amount of rent of flats allotted under different schemes of industrial plots, sheds, factory, DSIIDC. These rebates will be available on repayment of the remaining amount within 60 days of the issuance of instructions. After this, there will be a 30 percent discount on repaying the remaining amount within 45 days. However, there will be no relaxation in interest after this. At the same time, it has been decided not to continue the annual maintenance fee of 2.5 percent on the allottee of Narela Allotment Cell.

Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited is involved in several infrastructure projects located in Delhi including knowledge-based industrial park, built-up factory complex, housing for the urban poor, construction of new schools, construction of hospital and medical complex, DTC Construction of bus depot, software marketing estate, construction of office premises for Delhi Pollution Control Committee.
