Huawei patents foldable smartphone with stylus, sub-display

Beijing Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has patented a new foldable smartphone with stylus and sub-display. According to the report by Gijmon China, Huwave filed a design patent from CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration) in 2019, which has now been approved.

According to the patent picture, the foldable smartphone will come with a stylus and a sub-display right next to the primary screen, which follows an inward folding design. The company said that this sub-display will be narrow and long, covering the entire length of left and right. It has two cutout features for the dual front-facing camera.

Huawei recently filed a patent for a smartphone with all-screen fingerprint unlock technology. In addition, the company revealed that with the new full-screen fingerprint technology, users can reply to the message without opening the lock. Users will now have the option of active sensors, so that they can activate, deactivate the selected area.
