Official sources said the ED's supplementary chargesheet (charge sheet) filed in a PMLA court in Mumbai on July 13 referred to the revelation. It also includes the names of 11 other accused.
The ED said that Kapoor had stated in his statement to the Financial Investigation Agency in June that he used to report to Rana Kapoor, the then MD and CEO of the private lender. When asked about his roles and responsibilities at DCPL, Kapoor said that he was appointed as CEO in 2018 and Morgan Credits Private Limited (MCPL) owned by the firm Rana Kapoor's three daughters Radha, Roshni and Rekha Was a 100 percent subsidiary. All three were also the owners of DCPL. The ED also said that Kapoor had told her that Rana Kapoor's daughters had very limited interference in the day-to-day affairs of the DCPL.
It is also learned that on the direction of Rana Kapoor, Kapoor was appointed between DCPL and its group companies DOIT Creation (I) Private Limited, DOIT Creative Consumer Ventures (India) Private Limited, DOIT Urban Venture (India) Private Limited between 2016 and 2018. , Was entrusted with the responsibility of evaluating investment opportunities in RAVI etc.
A 100-page supplementary charge sheet has been filed against a total of 19 individuals or entities, including the eight names included in the previous charge sheet, which have been filed in a special court under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
