IndiGo's Hyderabad-Aurangabad flight from Aug 19

new Delhi. Private carrier IndiGo has decided to operate its flights between Hyderabad-Aurangabad daily from August 19. Aurangabad airport director DG Salve gave this information on Friday. Domestic and international flights were suspended in late March due to the lockdown enforced due to the Corona virus epidemic and services were only partially restored in late May.

Salve said that IndiGo started operating flights between Aurangabad and New Delhi three days a week from June 19.

The epidemic changed the mathematics of the air cargo business

Ketu B. Gajder, CEO of AAI Cargo Logistics and Allied Services Company (AAICLAS), said that the Kovid-19 epidemic has changed the entire mathematics of the air cargo industry. He said that domestic air freight during April to June 2020 decreased by 74 percent compared to the same period last year, while international air freight during this period decreased by 57 percent.

Gajder reported that the epidemic changed the entire landscape of the air cargo industry. Apart from freight planes, passenger planes were also used to transport goods such as fruits and vegetables. He said the industry was affected globally due to the epidemic, although the air cargo industry continued to carry flights to cargo after the start of the nationwide lockdown. He said that the air cargo industry has successfully met the demands of West Asia, China and South East.
