The Honda Amaze is a Contemporary sedan, offering a one-class Above sedan experience with its robust design, sophisticated and spacious interiors, unmatched driving performance, advanced features and safety technology. The Honda Amaze BS-6 is powered by a 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engine and 1.2-liter i-VTEC petrol engine and is available in both manual and CVT versions for both fuel options.

The first generation Honda Amaze was launched in India on April 2013 and as of March 2018 it had sold 2.6 lakh units. The second-generation Honda Amaze was launched in May 2018 and has so far sold 1.4 lakh units. Being a popular model in metro and non-metro cities, the Tier 1 market share is around 44 per cent of the total sales, while Tier 2 and 3 have a combined share of 56 per cent. With the increasing popularity of automatic transmission models among customers, the share of automatic in Amaze is also increasing. Its share in the first generation was 9 percent, which has increased to more than 20 percent in the second generation.
