new Delhi. Google will introduce its new smartphone Pixel 4A in the Indian market in October. However, the company will not launch its 5G technology-based Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A (5G) in the Indian and Singapore markets. In October last year, the company did not even introduce its Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL in the Indian market.
Google said in a blog that last year Pixel 3A gave people a chance to use good features of pixels at affordable prices. This year the Pixel 4A will give them the opportunity to use the incredible camera and many other features, which will improve their phones over time. It will be introduced in India in October.
Regarding the price of the phone, Google said that it will announce its introduction around it. Google said that Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A (5G) will not be available in India and Singapore this year. Google's Pixel 4A will have a 5.8-inch screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G mobile processor, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. The premium mobile phone market, priced above Rs 30,000 in India, is predominantly dominated by Apple, Samsung and OnePlus.
Tarun Pathak, Associate Director of Counterpoint Research, says that Google's pixels are not a smartphone-related problem with the phone but its accessibility to people. Pixel 4A can also be successful only when Google keeps its market access strategy right. It has the opportunity to make it the most successful model in India during the current anti-China perception.
In May last year, Google introduced the Pixel 3A and 3A XL with an initial price of Rs 39,999. Google has said that Pixel 4A will be launched at a more affordable price. The Pixel 4 and 4 XL were launched worldwide in October last year with a starting price of $ 799.
Pixel 4A (5G) and Pixel 5 will be launched in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan and Australia at a price of $ 499.
