It will be the most powerful SUV in its segment. ”He added that in addition to this the company is preparing to bring completely new products to the Indian market. Venkataram said India is one of the important markets for Renault. It is among the top 10 global markets for the company in terms of total sales over the past few years. He added, "Quid has some very popular global brands in our portfolio. The Kwid is one of the most prominent cars for the group globally. "The company recently introduced the Tiber. Apart from this, there is still encouraging response for the Kwid.

Reno sales rose 75.5 percent to 6,422 units in July from 3,660 units in the same month last year. He said the company's sales have also increased due to the good response to the AMT version of the Kwid and the Tribor. Giving information about the medium to long term strategy of growth in rural market, Venkataram said that last year the company started an activity targeting 300 rural towns. He said that apart from this, we have also started a special project 'Vistaar' to increase penetration in the rural market. Our dealership has appointed sales consultants specializing in expanding access to rural markets. The rural market share has increased to 25 percent of the company's total sales in the April-June quarter from 19 percent in January-March.
