Sebi to set up virtual museum of security market

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is setting up a virtual museum (museum) on the security market to make it easier for the common people to know about the history of the Indian security market, important changes and developments over the decades. SEBI has sought an Expression of Interest from agencies to set up a virtual museum. The museum will showcase the achievements of the Indian capital market. SEBI said that this museum will be a collection of changes and achievements in the Indian capital market in the last decades regarding market structure, regulation and enforcement.

According to SEBI, these achievements will be shown through photographs, videos, articles, news, paintings, paintings, illustrations and articles published in newspapers and interviews etc. Along with this, the museum will also have quiz-like options so that people can also connect with it. The proposed museum will also display history related to securities laws, history of establishment of stock exchanges in India, history related to important institutions for securities markets like UTI, Forward Markets Commission (FMC). Apart from this, business related behavior, historical decisions related to commodities trading, securities markets during various dynasties and regulations after and after the formation of SEBI or FMC will also be displayed in this museum. The aim of this museum is to increase the understanding of the security market among people, so that people can get more and more benefit from these markets.
