RIL Q1 profit up 31 percent as other income jump

RIL Q1 profit up 31 percent

new Delhi. Reliance Industries' consolidated profit in the June quarter was Rs 13233 crore, a growth of 30.97 per cent over the previous year. This jump in profit is due to a jump in other income. Other income during the quarter rose 54 per cent over the previous year to Rs 4388 crore. However, consolidated total income fell 42 per cent over the previous year to Rs 95626 crore. According to the company, the pressure on earnings was seen during the quarter due to the Corona crisis.
