All new Creta receives over 55,000 bookings

new Delhi. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has said that it has so far received bookings for more than 55,000 units for the brand new version of the recently introduced compact compact Creta. HMIL director (sales, marketing and service) Tarun Garg said that we had launched the Creta model in 2015. Since that time it has become a household name. This vehicle is a benchmark for the industry.

Till date, the company has sold 4.85 lakh units of Creta. The company introduced the new Creta in March. Garg said that with this we have been able to strengthen our leading position in the SUV segment. In just four months, we have received more than 55,000 bookings for this model. So far we have sold 20,000 units of this model.

Garg said that this is a major achievement in this challenging time. HMIL said in a statement that the Creta has been the best-selling SUV in May and June 2020. Garg said that the diesel variant contributed to Creta's booking. 60 percent of the total bookings are for the diesel variant. This reflects the company's strong demand for India Phase-six technology.
