OnePlus accidentally exposes customer data for the second time in less than a year

new Delhi. Chinese smartphone manufacturing company OnePlus has allegedly revealed the email IDs of hundreds of its customers and this happened while sending emails to select users in bulk for a research study. Actually, instead of putting the email ID of the customers in the BCC place, the company sent hundreds of emails in a two-box box.

According to the Android Police report on Friday, as a result, all users receiving email related to research received the email IDs of hundreds of customers.

The number of users affected due to this mistake is still not known, but one of them told the Android police that the number is in thousands. Oneplus has not responded to this yet.

In November last year, there was a similar data breech from the company in which information such as the name, number, email, shipping address of the customer was disclosed, although it did not reveal the password and any financial details.
