HMSI becomes India; s first to sale more than 1 million BS-6 vehicles


HMSI Sales crosses 1 million level

new Delhi. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has so far sold more than 11 lakh BS-6 two-wheelers in the domestic market. With this, the company has become the first company to sell more than 10 lakh BS-6 vehicles. Honda Motorcycle reported its sales figures on Friday. The company said that by the end of FY 2019-20, the company had sold more than 6.5 lakh BS-6 two-wheelers. Which was the highest sale of BS-6 vehicles by any company in the industry during the financial year. According to the company, it started selling BS-6 two-wheelers by launching the new Activa 125, 6 months before the September 2019 deadline. Which helped him to stay ahead of the market.

"This is a proud opportunity for us at Honda," said Yadvinder Singh Guleria, director and sales and marketing, Honda Motorcycle. We have sold over 11 lakh BS-6 vehicles. Honda has won the trust of the people in the country. "He said the company's two-wheelers range from 110 cc engine capacity scooters to premium motorcycles with 1,100 cc engine capacity. According to him, given the way customers are putting more emphasis on their personal vehicles due to the Corona crisis, the company has come up with many new initiatives which include options like online booking, finance scheme, 6-year warranty scheme.

According to the company, new features are being added to the vehicles along with the new engine. Special ESP technology in vehicles includes ACG starter motors and programmed fuel injection (PGM Fi). PGM Fi has met the expectations of 5.5 crore customers from ASEAN countries and now it is being liked by Indian customers as well.
