This can also be gauged from the fact that multiplex chain PVR Cinema has tied up with Reckitt Benckiser's popular sanitization brand Dettol to provide viewers with a movie viewing experience in a hygenic manner.
PVR Cinema has said that theaters will be opened with government guidelines and approvals. The company said in a statement that under this partnership program, the cleanliness and sanitizing protocol would be ensured for audiences coming to 175 PVR cinema in 70 cities.
RB Health South Asia Chief Marketing Officer Pankaj Duhan said that by partnering with PVR, we want to provide the best Dettol Germ protection to the film audience.
Gowtham Dutta, CEO of PVR Cinema, said that the multiplex chain has been discussing over the last few months how to provide a better and safer environment to the viewers watching the film. We have partnered with Dettol to ensure safety at all levels, which guarantees a clean and clean visual experience.
PVR Cinema has said that it is preparing to implement the Hygiene Protocol, Social Distancing and Food Safety Measures. Minimum human interaction will be ensured at all touchpoints. All employees will undergo daily health tests. All employees will wear PPE kits, face masks, gloves and face shield for added protection.
In addition to this, PVR said that the entire campus will get the ULV sanitization process approved by the EPA at regular intervals. Under this, an anti-microbial layer will be coated on the surface with an electrostatic machine.
