new Delhi. Google is set to launch a file sharing feature like Apple AirDrop in August for Android users. This tool will be available in the first beta version, as per GSM Arina report. This feature will be available only for Android users who are using Android 6 or above. The report states that it will require an OS version.

Google will bring Nearby shares for beta test. To get this update, Android users will go to the Play Store, which will be downloaded and used. With this feature, Android users can easily transfer their files, photos, links to Nearby phones. This feature is exactly like Apple AirDrop, which transfers files with the help of Bluetooth, WiFi.

Users will first select the file and as soon as tapping on the share option, the option of Nearby Share is seen, which will be connected to the nearby device as soon as it is clicked. The recipient of the content will get a notification whether they allow to get content from other phones or not. The file will be transferred in a few seconds of the device being allowed. With the help of this new feature, users will be able to send content to other people close to them quickly and easily.
