Washington America's largest online retailer, Amazon.com Inc, said that an email instructing employees to delete the Chinese app TickTalk from their mobile device has been sent by mistake. On Friday, the company said in a statement that the email sent to employees was a mistake. There has been no change in our policies regarding Tittock yet.
It is worth mentioning that on Friday morning, Amazon had sent an email to all its employees instructing them to delete TikTok from their mobile device. This email stated that given the security risk, the TicketLock app may not be allowed on mobile devices on which Amazon email is accessed. The company had told its employees that if you have a TicketLock app on your mobile phone, delete it by July 10, otherwise you will not be able to access Amazon email on your mobile.
Five hours after this email, Amazon told its employees that the email instructing Ticketock to be deleted was a mistake and that his policies regarding Ticketlock had not yet been changed. The US government has expressed concern over the safety hazards associated with Ticketcock. It is worth mentioning that India has also banned 59 Chiapi apps including Tiktok.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said that App Ticketok, owned by Chinese company BiteDance Ltd, is very popular among the youth and gives our data to the Chinese government. Pompeo had called on US citizens not to download the TicketLock app, saying that your personal information would be passed into the hands of the Chinese Communist Party.
Tittock has consistently denied the allegations leveled against him. The Ticketcock Spokesperson said that the safety of users is our top priority and we are fully committed to maintaining the privacy of our users.
