new Delhi. Chinese smartphone maker Vivo on Thursday announced its entry into the premium smartphone segment in India with the new X-series. The company said that its production will be done at the plant located in Greater Noida. Under the X-series, the smartphone manufacturer will launch the X-50 and X-50 Pro smartphones, which will feature professional grade camera technology.

Vivo India brand strategy director Nipun Mariya said that the demand for premium smartphones is increasing rapidly. Customers are looking for a premium device that enhances their smartphone experience. He added, "We believe that Vivo has built a strong brand-value in India. This is the right time to expand our product offering."

Marya said, "The upcoming Camera-Centric X-Series will be introduced in the market soon, catering to the emerging needs of photography lovers. We hope that our entry into the premium smartphone segment will change the benchmark in mobile photography Will give.

The company is working on a new smart retail model to continue its retail network business across India. The purpose of this new model was that while stores are opening and retailers are going back to business, there are still some customers who do not want to visit the store. This model is for them only.

"In this, customers can send questions related to their Vivo product to retailers and then we will call them, understand their need, suggest a smartphone and finally it will be sold," said Marya.
