According to public sector oil marketing companies, the price of diesel has been increased by 25 paise per liter on Tuesday. Following this fresh price rise, the new price of diesel in the national capital Delhi has gone up to Rs 80.78 per liter from Rs 80.53 on Monday. On the other hand, the price of petrol remained flat at Rs. 80.43 per liter.
Experts say prices are seeing pressure amid fears of a global outbreak of Corona leading to softening demand for crude oil, although Brent crude futures contract traded strongly on Monday, while US crude There was a softening in WTI.
According to the website of IndianOil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai remains unchanged at Rs 80.43, Rs 82.10, Rs 87.19 and Rs 83.63 per liter respectively.
