Car on lease

new Delhi. If you are planning to postpone your car purchase due to Corona crisis, then Maruti Suzuki's new plan is for you. In fact, the country's largest car manufacturer has started a plan to lease the car. That is, customers will be able to enjoy their car without buying a car. Maruti today announced the launch of a lease subscription service under the Maruti Suzuki Subscriber Project. Currently, the scheme will start in a pilot project in Bangalore and Gurugram.

Under the scheme, you will be able to lease selected cars included in the lease portfolio for 24, 36 or 48 months. For this, the customer will have to pay a fix monthly, which will include the car, maintenance and insurance part. Currently, entry-level cars have not been included. The cars that can be leased include Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Ciaz, XL6 and Ertiga. All cars will be new.

For this scheme, Maruti has tied up with Japan-based company Orix Auto Infrastructure. Looking at the impact on sales due to Corona crisis, car companies are coming up with new ideas to increase demand. Recently, Maruti has entered into an agreement with banks and car finance companies to offer car loans on very attractive terms. The lease scheme is also a part of the link to increase sales.

Maruti Suzuki has released its June sales figures for yesterday. These showed growth in comparison to May, although it has seen a decline of 54% as compared to the figures of last year.
