Vistara announce pay cut

new Delhi. Aviation company Vistar has announced a reduction in salaries of about 40 percent of its employees by five to 20 percent by December this year. The expansion income has been severely affected due to the corona virus epidemic. The expansion has a staff strength of over 4,000. A spokesperson for the expansion said on Tuesday that there would be no pay cut for about 60 percent of our employees.

Leslie Theng, chief executive of the extension, said in an e-mail sent to employees, "There will be a 20 percent reduction in salaries from July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. A scheme to cut the monthly salary of employees (except pilots) is being implemented. There will be a 15 percent reduction in the salaries of Level 5 and 4 employees. There will be a 10 per cent reduction in the salaries of Level 3 and 2 employees and Level 1, 3 licensed engineers. At the same level, the salary of employees with a CTC of Rs 50,000 or more monthly is being reduced by five percent. He said that in the case of pilots, from July to December 2020, they will get a monthly basic flight allowance of 20 hours.

As of April, flight allowances were being given 70 hours per month to extension pilots. This allowance is a fixed part of the pilots' salary. Theng told employees that Airlinail was operating at less than 30 percent of its original network. Due to the applicable lockdown caused by the Corona virus, the number of passengers on its flights is quite low. He said that due to Kovid-19 our financial performance has been affected. Demand will take time to reach the level before Kovid-19.
