Earlier on Monday, companies had increased the price of diesel by 13 paise and petrol price by 5 paise per liter.

On Tuesday, the price of petrol in Delhi was Rs 80.43 per liter and the price of diesel was Rs 80.53 per liter. In the last three weeks, the total price of diesel has increased by Rs 11.14 per liter. According to the price notification of the public sector oil marketing companies, there was no increase in the price of petrol and diesel on Tuesday. After this, the price of petrol in Delhi was Rs 80.43 per liter and diesel was priced at Rs 80.53 per liter.

Prices of petrol and diesel vary from state to state, as sales tax or value-added tax (VAT) on fuel differs from state to state. Petrol price in Mumbai also remained stable at Rs 87.19 per liter and diesel at Rs 78.83 per liter. Since last June 7, where diesel prices have increased for 22 consecutive days. At the same time, the price of petrol has increased by 21 days. In between, there was no change in the price of petrol on Sunday. During this period, the price of petrol has increased by Rs. 9.17 and diesel by Rs. 11.14 per liter.
