Reliance Jio No.1 in broadband market, captures more than 56% market

new Delhi. Reliance Jio occupies more than half of the country's broadband market. According to data released by TRAI for February, Reliance Jio holds 56.33 per cent of India's broadband subscriber market. Airtel is at number two. At the same time, according to TRAI, there has been a growth of 1.15% in the total broadband subscribers during February. Subscriber has increased from 67.3 million to 681 million as of January.

According to the data, Reliance Jio dominates wireless broadband services. By the end of February, Reliance Jio's subscriber numbers reached 38.2 million. Bharti Airtel's subscriber count crossed 14.36 crore. Vodafone Idea had 11.8 crore subscribers and BSNL 1.65 crore subscribers during this period. At the same time, MTNL's subscriber count was below 2 lakhs.

On the other hand, BSNL is at the forefront of wired broadband services with a subscriber base of over 8 million. On the other hand, Bharti Airtel has 24.5 lakh subscribers. Atria, ranked third, has more than 1.5 million subscribers. Hathway has 9.4 lakh and Reliance Jio has 8.4 lakh subscribers in this category.
