New Delhi. MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Saturday that he has requested the Commerce Ministry to allow the export of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits, as they are now being produced in greater quantities in the country. Nitin Gadkari said, "Now, I have already requested the Ministry of Commerce" to allow export of PPE kits from India. He also added that this request is being considered. He said that people are getting orders for PPE kits from Dubai, Canada, USA and European countries. Recently, AEPC, the body of apparel export industry, also urged the government to lift the ban on export of PPE kits.
