new Delhi. To avoid the deadly corona virus and strengthen the immunity, Amul has introduced Tulsi and Ginger milk in the market after turmeric milk. Amul's managing director RS Sodhi said that Amul has introduced basil and ginger milk to strengthen immunity to fight Kovid-19. Sodhi said that there is no medicine or vaccine available to prevent the corona virus, so in this case Amul turmeric, basil and ginger milk will help in strengthening the immunity of people.
Tulsi has many medicinal properties. It also has anti-microbial and anti-allergic properties. It is therefore useful in treating bacterial and fungal infections as well as immunological diseases such as allergies and asthma.
Similarly, ginger is highly used in Ayurveda, so it is a medicine in itself. An Ayurvedic formula states that fresh ginger should be eaten before the day and night to keep digestion healthy.
The company has said in a statement that together with Amul milk, the overall health value of ginger and basil has increased manifold. This first-of-its-kind ready-to-drink beverage with its Ayurvedic properties is available in the market. It can be drunk anytime of the day by people of all ages. The 125 ml pack is priced at Rs 25. The shelf life of these milk packs at room temperature will be up to six months.
Amul is the largest milk company in India. This ensures that its consumers consume healthy and hygienically packaged substances. Basil and ginger milk will be packaged at the company's plants in the West and North India. Initially 200,000 packs will be produced per day.
