new Delhi. The Kovid-19 crisis and the ensuing lockdown have impacted the country's economy, employment of people and financial condition of companies. In such a situation now that economic activities are starting again in the country, keeping an eye on the future, only 5 percent companies are planning to recruit new people in the July-September quarter. According to the Manpower Group's employment scenario survey, the employment direction and condition in the country in July-September will determine the areas like mining, construction, finance, insurance and real estate. This trend has been revealed in this survey conducted among 695 employers in the country. However, the same survey has also revealed that only five percent of the companies are considering giving employment opportunities. This is the worst situation in the last 15 years. But the good thing is that among the 44 major countries of the world, India is among the top four countries where the positive attitude towards employment continues. Apart from this, the employment scenario remains positive only in Japan, China and Taiwan. The net employment situation in these countries for July-September is 11 percent, 3 -3 percent respectively.

Sandeep Gulati, group managing director of the company's Indian operations, said, "Due to economic slowdown, companies are rationalizing their workforce." Companies have started working after the lockdown. They expect demand to increase, so there is a need to look at the conditions and wait for the decision of the companies. ”However, employment activity in the country has declined by 61 percent in the month of May.

According to Naukri.com's monthly employment index 'Naukri Job Speak', employment activity declined by 61 percent in May due to the corona virus lockdown. This was the second consecutive month when employment opportunities fell by more than 60 percent. In May this year, only 910 applications were sought on the company's portal, compared to 2,346 in May last year. The company releases the report by assessing the job advertisements on its portal.
