new Delhi. The Union Home Ministry has released new guidelines for Unlock 1 on Saturday, a day before the end of Lockdown 4 on Saturday. Under Unlock 1, a roadmap to open the closed activities in the country has been introduced in three phases. Let's know about the 12 big points of the new guidelines:
Nationwide lockdown in prohibited areas will continue until June 30.
Restricted activities outside the prohibited areas will be opened in a phased manner.
The activities which will be allowed from 8 June will include religious places, hotels, restaurants and other hotel services for the people.
Shopping malls will be allowed to open from June 8. It will be allowed to go anywhere in the country.
Schools, colleges, educational, training, coaching institutes will be opened in the second phase in consultation with states and union territories.
States, Union Territories, parents and other concerned parties will consult with regard to opening educational institutions from July.
Curfew time will be reviewed at night, there will be a ban in the entire country from 9 am to 5 am.
After assessing the situation, the decision on international air travel, metro train, cinema hall, gym, political meetings etc. will be taken in the third phase.
The lockdown in the prohibited areas will continue till June 30, these areas will be decided by the district administration.
State and Union Territories will identify buffer areas outside the prohibited areas where there are high chances of infection.
The district administration may impose restrictions based on the need in the buffer zone.
Depending on the circumstances, states and union territories may prohibit or impose restrictions on certain activities outside the prohibited areas.
