Maruti extends warranty, service timelines till June end

New Delhi The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said on Saturday that it has decided to extend the warranty period and free servicing deadline for its customers by one month, given the current situation.

The company said in a statement that it has decided to offer customers free servicing, warranties and extended warranties by the end of June. This initiative will benefit customers who were unable to avail the facility of servicing due to lockdown.

This will also benefit customers whose warranties for vehicles have expired during the lockdown period. The company claims that its decision will benefit about 8 lakh customers.
